Location, you may well ask? That's pretty general, isn't it? Sure, but location encompasses a lot of different things. At the most general level, many urban condos may be found in the heart of cities. However if you break it down further - say within biking or walking distance - urban condos are near bars and restaurants, sporting events, theaters and other arts, public transportation. Unlike some of my suburban friends, I don't have to get driving to experience almost any cultural or sporting event I want.
While my job entails lots of driving interior and exterior the city, there are many people who choose to live without cars. They could do so as their condo if near the place they work. Individuals who work at home may just have to walk along the hallway to get at their desks; individuals who have condos near their office benefit from the next best thing. Oftentimes, they can walk to the office and avoid difficulties associated with driving and parking. If they want to return home and have lunch, they've the option. At the same time, if they desire to go for happy hour or dinner after work, there probably are multiple options within minutes of their office or their condo.
Another aspect of condo locations I love is that people often come to where I will be. Given my condo is so close to the activities people love, they drive to the city and deal with parking. I simply meet them at the restaurant or stadium. When it's time to head home, I've a few-minute walk in front of me, while my pals have to get in their cars and drive not less than a few minutes.
Finally, shopping. Because i am not just a big shopper myself, your options within walking distance are nearly endless. You can find department stores and chain stores carrying brands of clothing and home ware that everyone would recognize, to small, independent shops where one can get things you can't get elsewhere. If I require a last-minute gift for someone, or have been taking into consideration the perfect present for months, I probably simply have to take a stroll to go obtain it.
As I said earlier within the article, everyone has reasons for surviving in condos. Although location tops this list for me, I really could go on and on about why I enjoy it. But that is a topic for an additional day.
